Stepping into spring in florals? Groundbreaking. (Miranda Priestly would respond.) Kidding of course, I can’t wait to break out my anything that will show a sliver of shoulder or resembles a floral frock that is ready to dance in a summer breeze. In the meantime though, I will cherish these lower temperatures and wear as many monochromatic numbers I can think of.
I have once said that if I could wear all black every day that I would. Well, ladies and gentleman of the jury, here I stand…err, walk briskly against a red wall, red-handed and guilty as charged.

This lace number begs for summer to stay just a little bit longer. Simple and sweet, a romper is a must-have in any closet. I love this bold and brilliant blue – and the eyelet lace? Just beautiful. With temperatures dropping I feared that I wouldn’t be able to don the look as much as I had hoped in the upcoming season. However; it may serve as the perfect, casual; yet romantic look for a southern coastal wedding that I have planned in the upcoming weeks.

I have always loved celebrating Valentine’s Day. It means so much more than just a box of chocolates or being wooed by a significant other. It’s about being around those that you love and thanking them for always having your back. It’s about loving others. It’s about loving yourself. Take time this V-Day to reach out to those you care about and send them a love note. Heck, send yourself a love note!
Roses are red, violets are blue; it’s not about being single or paired, it’s about you loving you.
